Reading Job Descriptions

When applying to an online job, it is important to read through the job description - word by word. It is highly recommended to read it several times. Personally, I have hired a few writers to help me with projects, and only maybe 2 out of 10 actually READ the directions fully and understand. Read the job descriptions and you will be one step ahead!

Many employers will provide information concerning exactly what they are looking for. Some will ask you to supply specifics when applying to a job. Many will want to know that you have fully read the job description and ask you to place a set of words (for example, "The sky is red.") somewhere in the resume, or cover letter. They are looking for those who can follow instructions.

Some employers will give specific directions within the job description, such as you must have a Skype account. If you do not have one - then, you will need to create an account. This should be done ahead of time to prevent issues within the actual interviewing process.

If you are chosen to interview for the position, then take another look at the job description again. Focus on the key words you see - which will possibly give you clues to some of the questions which may be asked during the interview question process.
